Three decades ago, we opened our first headquarters in Regent Street, an area steeped in cultural history, and at the centre of London’s creative industries.
We wanted to create a college that would enable people to access their own creativity, no matter where they live, or what they do for a living, so we gathered experts from within the creative industries to write and tutor quality creative courses.
Thirty years on over 90,000 people from around the world have studied with us, and unlocked their creative potential on their terms.
Our course materials are easy to pick up, well written and clearly structured, so whatever your routine, it’s easy to progress.
What’s more, you can start your course whenever you want, and hand in your work when it’s ready. No waiting around for term to begin. No deadlines to disrupt your day to day.
Our tutors are experts in their subjects and are dedicated to giving students the support and encouragement they need. Tutors also personally mark assignments and provide positive and constructive feedback, helping students to master each lesson.
Our students can contact their personal tutor throughout the course for helpful advice or to get any questions answered, and the support doesn’t stop there.
We’re proud to continue providing personal tutor support to all of our students after they’ve completed their studies.

“I studied photography at college years ago, before Photoshop and even digital cameras were really around. I wanted to find a course that could help me refresh my knowledge, and pick up the relevant skills to confidently edit with Adobe Suite, whilst holding down a full time job. RA didn’t disappoint. I was supported by my tutor every step of the way, and my course materials made learning easy. I even got some great family pics out of the process! ” - Adrien
“I looked at quite a few different colleges before I found Regent Academy. My main concern with distance learning was always about how much support and advice I’d actually get, and whether there really was a team there to help me. My advice… Give Regent Academy a ring, and speak to one of their amazing members of staff. They’ll talk you through any questions you might have, and make you feel confident that you’re buying something worthwhile.” - Rea
“I am very much enjoying the course and the tutor is extremely encouraging… I hope once I have successfully completed the course, I will be able to have another career.” - Bob
