Hone your storytelling skills, and construct original, powerful pieces of literature, with our creative writing course – suitable for beginners.

This course will illuminate the creative journey from idea to execution, teaching you how to use research to inform your writing, and how to negotiate narrative structures in order to fully explore your idea from beginning to end. You’ll be taught to write in a variety of mediums, from prose and poetry to scriptwriting and journalism, allowing you to find your preferred form and develop a distinctive voice.

You’ll then study routes into publication, learning how and when to approach agents and publishers; the pros and cons of self-publishing, and submitting to magazines, newspapers and TV/radio stations.

Study Length

There are no deadlines for this course. Simply study in the comfort of your own home, and in your own time.
